GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Scope

1.1. These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") apply to all services provided by Take 2 Studios ("Studio") to its customers.

1.2. Any deviations, amendments, or additions to these T&Cs require written confirmation from the Studio. The Studio does not accept or recognize the customer's terms and conditions unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

1.3. If any provision of these T&Cs is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

 

2. Conclusion of Contract

2.1. All offers from the Studio are non-binding. A contract is concluded only upon written booking confirmation from the Studio.

2.2. The rights and obligations arising from the contract may not be transferred to third parties without the Studio's prior written consent.

 

3. Subject Matter of the Contract

3.1. The subject matter of the contract is the use of the Studio (either Studio 1: LED Volume or Studio 2: Cyclorama) at the agreed location for the booked period. Additional equipment, personnel, or services must be booked separately.

3.2. Use of the Studio is permitted exclusively for photo, video, or virtual productions, as well as events.

 

4. Booking Times

4.1. The Studio is available for booking from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00.

4.2. Overtime is only permitted with prior approval from the Studio. Production sessions may not continue past scheduled times unless approved in advance by the Studio. The customer shall be responsible for payment of all additional fees and charges (as defined below) for sessions that exceed the scheduled time at the Studio's current rates.

 

5. Use of Facilities

5.1. Green Room and Kitchen: Customers may use the Green Room and Kitchen facilities during their booking period. These areas must be kept clean and tidy, and any damages or excessive cleaning required will result in additional charges.

5.2. Studio Equipment: All equipment provided by the Studio must be used with care. Any damage caused by the customer or their team will be charged at the Studio's discretion.

5.3. Smoke, Fog, and Special Effects:

  • The use of smoke, fog, or any other materials that may trigger fire alarms is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from the Studio.
  • If the customer requires the use of such materials, they must notify the Studio in advance and obtain written approval. The Studio reserves the right to deny permission at its sole discretion.
  • If a fire alarm is activated due to the customer’s actions (e.g., unauthorized use of smoke or fog), the customer will be liable for any associated fines, costs, or damages.

5.4. Incidents and Emergencies:

  • The Studio is not responsible for malfunctions or breakdowns of equipment, facilities, or infrastructure (e.g., truck gates, lighting systems, or technical failures) that are beyond its reasonable control. The Studio will make every effort to resolve such issues promptly but does not guarantee uninterrupted access or functionality.
  • In the event of an incident that affects the Studio’s operations or insurance (e.g., damage to property, injury to individuals, or disruption of services), the customer must immediately notify the Studio and cooperate fully with any investigations or insurance claims. 


6. Prices and Payment

6.1. All prices are in Euros and subject to statutory VAT.

6.2. The agreed total amount must be paid no later than 14 days after the booking date and/or after the service has been delivered.

6.3. The full amount is payable even if the Studio is not used, unless cancelled within our cancellations' terms and conditions (see below for specific cancellation fees).

 

7. Cancellation

7.1. Cancellations must be made in writing via email (info@take2studios.at). The following cancellation fees apply:

7.1.1       For On Set Virtual Production and Cyclorama Studio Bookings:

  • Less than 48 hours before the booking start: 100% of the total amount.
  • 48 hours to 14 days before the booking start: 50% of the total amount.
  • More than 14 days before the booking start: no cancellation fees.

7.1.2       For Pre-Production and Content Creation Services:

Once a quote has been confirmed by the customer, cancellation is only possible if made at least 10 business days before the planned completion date. However, the Studio reserves the right to charge a fee based on the amount of work already completed at the time of cancellation.

If cancellation occurs less than 10 business days before the scheduled completion date, the Studio will charge:

  • 50% of the total quoted amount if the project is in its early stages (e.g., research, initial drafts, or planning).
  • 75% of the total quoted amount if substantial work has been completed (e.g., advanced drafts, production, or final stages).
  • 100% of the total quoted amount if the project is near completion or ready for delivery.

7.2. Cancellation fees must be paid within 14 days of notification.

 

8. Use of the Studio and its Facilities

8.1. The Studio may only be used for the agreed purposes. Subletting or transfer to third parties is strictly prohibited.

8.2. The customer is responsible for keeping the Studio and its facilities clean and tidy. Severe contamination or damage may result in additional cleaning or repair fees.

8.3. The Studio must be inspected for cleanliness and damages before and after use. Any defects or damages must be reported immediately. Failure to report damages may result in the customer being held responsible for pre-existing issues.

8.4. Alcohol, smoking, and animals are only allowed with the Studio’s explicit prior written approval.

8.5. Studio staff reserves the right to enter the premises at any time to ensure compliance with these T&Cs, while making reasonable efforts to avoid disrupting ongoing productions.

 

9. Return and Cleaning

9.1. The Studio and all facilities must be returned in the same condition as they were found. This includes:

  • Dismantling and removing any equipment brought in by the customer.
  • Disposing of waste in accordance with the Studio's sustainability guidelines.

9.2. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in additional charges.

 

10. Surveillance and Recording

10.1. The Studio is equipped with security cameras for safety, operational, and liability purposes. These cameras may record video during the booking period.

10.2. By using the Studio, the customer acknowledges and agrees that they and their team have no expectation of privacy in the Studio’s common areas, stages, or workspaces. There are no cameras installed in private areas such as restrooms or changing rooms.

10.3. Recordings are the property of the Studio and will only be shared with third parties if required by law or to resolve disputes.

10.4. The Studio may use recordings for quality control or promotional purposes unless the customer explicitly objects in writing prior to the booking.

10.5. The customer is responsible for informing their team, contractors, and guests about the presence of cameras in the Studio.

 

11. Liability

11.1. The customer is liable for any damages caused to hardware, equipment, facilities, or the Studio itself during their booking period, including damage caused by their team, contractors, or guests.

11.2. The Studio is not liable for slight negligence or loss of the customer's profits.

11.3. The customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary rights to the content produced and indemnifies the Studio against any third-party claims.

 

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

12.1. All T&Cs (including the ones below) are governed by Austrian law.

12.2. The place of jurisdiction for any disputes is Salzburg.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS — STUDIO 1:LED VOLUME

1. General Use and Restrictions

1.1. No Direct Contact with the LED Wall: The LED wall is an expensive, highly sensitive and fragile piece of equipment. Customers and their team are strictly prohibited from touching the LED wall, panels, or any connected cables. Any adjustments or repairs must be performed exclusively by the Studio’s technical team.

1.2. Minimum Distance from the LED Wall: To prevent physical damage and ensure optimal performance, no objects, equipment, or personnel may be placed within 1 meter (3.3 feet) of the LED wall unless explicitly approved by the Studio.

1.3. No Climbing or Leaning on the LED Wall: Climbing, leaning, or placing any weight on the LED wall or its support structure is strictly prohibited.

1.4. No Unauthorized Modifications: The customer may not modify, disassemble, or attempt to repair any part of the LED wall, stage, or related equipment unless explicitly authorized and supervised by the Studio.

 

2. Environmental and Operational Guidelines

2.1. Temperature and Humidity Control: The customer must ensure that the temperature and humidity levels in the LED Volume remain within the Studio’s specified range (typically 18-25°C / 64-77°F and 30-70% humidity). Extreme conditions can damage the LED wall and other equipment.

2.2. Restrictions on Lighting: High-intensity lights (e.g., HMI lights or lasers) must not be directed at the LED wall, as this can cause permanent damage to the panels. If such lighting is required, the Studio’s technical team must approve and supervise the setup.

2.3. No Unauthorized Software or Content: The customer may not upload or run unauthorized software or content on the LED wall without prior approval from the Studio. All content must be tested and approved by the Studio’s technical team before use.

 

3. Prohibited Items and Activities

3.1. No Sharp or Heavy Objects Near the LED Wall: Sharp, heavy, or abrasive objects must not be brought near the LED wall. This includes but is not limited to ladders, tools, or props that could scratch, dent, or damage the LED panels. If the set up of equipment, stage pieces or props near the wall is required, the Studio’s technical team must approve and supervise the setup.

3.2. No Food or Drinks on Stage: Food and drinks are strictly prohibited on the stage or near the LED wall unless they are required for filming and have been approved in advance by the Studio. Any spills or contamination caused by the customer will result in a cleaning and/or repair fee.

3.3. Use of Water or Liquids: The use of water or any liquids near the LED wall or on stage is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from the Studio. If water or liquids are required for filming, the customer must notify the Studio as soon as possible so that the Studio can provide specific guidelines to minimize risks.

 

4. Liability for Damages

4.1. Customer Responsibility: The customer is fully responsible for any damage caused to the LED wall, stage, or related equipment during their booking period, including damage caused by their team, contractors, or guests.

4.2. Damage Fees:

  • In the event of damage to the LED wall or stage, the customer will be charged for the full cost of repairs or replacement, including labor and materials.
  • A minimum fee of EUR 1,000 will apply for minor damages to the LED wall (e.g., scratches, dents, or minor panel issues), with additional costs for more significant damage.

4.3. Inspection Before and After Use:

  • The LED wall and stage will be inspected by the Studio’s technical team before and after each booking. The customer must be present during the inspection to confirm the condition of the equipment.
  • Any defects or damages must be reported immediately. Failure to report damages may result in the customer being held responsible for pre-existing issues.


5. Emergency Protocols

5.1. Immediate Reporting of Issues: If the LED wall malfunctions, displays errors, or is damaged during use, the customer must immediately notify the Studio’s technical team and cease all activities that could exacerbate the issue.

5.2. Power Outages or Technical Failures: In the event of a power outage or technical failure, the customer must not attempt to restart or troubleshoot the LED wall without the Studio’s technical team present.

 

6. Booking Details

6.1. The minimum booking duration is 120 minutes.

6.2. Bookings for Studio 1 include a standard crew package. Additional crew or equipment can be arranged upon request.

6.3. Overtime fees:

Regular Hours (08:00–18:00):

  • Without Crew: €600 per hour.
  • With Crew: €1,200 per hour.

Early Morning Hours (06:00–08:00):

  • Without Crew: €900 per hour.
  • With Crew: €1,350 per hour.

After Normal Working Hours (18:00–20:00):

  • Without Crew: €900 per hour.
  • With Crew: €1,800 per hour.

Night Hours (22:00–06:00):

  • Without Crew: €1,200 per hour.
  • With Crew: €2,400 per hour.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS — STUDIO 2: CYCLORAMA

1. Handling and Use of the Cyclorama Studio

1.1. The Cyclorama Wall must be treated with care, with special attention to its curved section. Please follow the posted signs in the studio and do not step or place any equipment on the curvature.

1.2 If you need to enter the Cyclorama area, please use the shoe covers provided by the Studio—outdoor shoes are only permitted if required for filming.

1.3 Any damage, including scratches, tears, stains, or structural alterations, must be reported immediately and may result in additional repair charges.


2. Booking Details

2.1. The minimum booking duration is 60 minutes.

2.2. Studio 2 can be booked without crew. Additional crew or equipment can be arranged upon request.

2.3. Overtime fees:

Regular Hours (08:00–18:00):

  • Without Crew: €100 per hour.
  • With Crew: €150 per hour.

Early Morning Hours (06:00–08:00):

  • Without Crew: €150 per hour.
  • With Crew: €225 per hour.

After Normal Working Hours (18:00–20:00):

  • Without Crew: €150 per hour.
  • With Crew: €225 per hour.

Night Hours (22:00–06:00):

  • Without Crew: €200 per hour.
  • With Crew: €300 per hour.
